About the Event
Biblioteca de Andalucía’s summer 2026 programme includes José Hernández Quero. Una mirada al ayer, Summer Readings devoted to Susana Martín Gijón and activities tied to the Andalusian instruments show at Corral del Carbón.
Biblioteca de Andalucía (former Law Faculty building, Cartuja campus) shapes a cultural summer mixing exhibitions, reading recommendations and outreach on Andalusian musical heritage.
Until 9 October 2026 it hosts José Hernández Quero. Una mirada al ayer, a selection from the Granada painter-engraver’s (1930) work drawn from library holdings. In August, Summer Readings focuses on Susana Martín Gijón: each Friday publishes picks on the website and social channels, with titles available on the public library network and eBiblio Andalucía.
The library also supports the Zambras moriscas / al-Andalus instruments exhibition at Corral del Carbón (until 30 September). Standard library hours; check bibliotecasdeandalucia.es for one-off workshops.
