La Banda Morisca and Lourdes Pastor close Parapanda Folk (30 August, 21:00) at Anfiteatro Enrique Morente: Andalusí and Mediterranean fusion, free entry.
La Banda Morisca closes Parapanda Folk’s 35th edition with a live set linking rock, rumba and Andalusian roots — the sound they popularised on the Costa Tropical that still hits hard on stage. Lourdes Pastor joins a farewell night for the Íllora cycle.
Free entry and party atmosphere: the most dance-oriented festival date and a good introduction if you only know the band from records. Plan a late return to Granada or local accommodation; after a week of concerts the amphitheatre usually fills up.
