Parapanda Folk opens its 35th edition in Íllora (24 August, 21:00): Parapanda Suena municipal workshop plus Melaza at Anfiteatro Enrique Morente, free entry and ~700 capacity.
Parapanda Folk’s 35th edition starts at Íllora’s Anfiteatro Enrique Morente with training and local stage: the Parapanda Suena municipal workshop showcases students and Melaza closes the night with contemporary folk. The festival moved to 24 August after postponement from July; doors usually open between 21:00 and 21:30 and the main concert starts at 22:00.
It is one of the province’s strongest folk dates: free entry, village atmosphere and a bill mixing Andalusian roots with Celtic and Mediterranean sounds on later nights. From Granada city allow 25–30 minutes via the A-92; parking in Íllora gets tight on festival nights.
