“El tren fluvial” is the first feature by Lorenzo Ferro —actor in *El Ángel* and *Simón de la montaña*— and Lucas A. Vignale. It screens in one of the 32nd Jóvenes Realizadores festival’s special sessions: Thursday 22 October 2026 at 18:00 at the Teatro Isabel la Católica.

Milo is nine and dances malambo in a lost Argentine town, but his mind is elsewhere: he dreams of boarding a train that will take him to Buenos Aires, a city he knows only from films. When he finally sets off, what seemed a simple escape turns into the adventure in which a child begins to discover that the world is bigger and more fragile than he thought.

The film (Argentina, 2026, 76 minutes) premiered at the Berlinale and has screened at New Directors/New Films in New York and at San Sebastián. A single ticket costs €6 and it is also included in the festival pass.
