About the Event
Armonías del Viento celebrates Granada Cathedral’s newly restored Epistle organ: monthly concerts with international organists — from Lisbon, Paris, Stockholm or Madrid — during the cathedral’s fifth centenary.
The Armonías del Viento cycle follows restoration of Granada Cathedral’s Epistle organ, blessed in April 2026. Organised by the cathedral chapter and Archbishop’s Cultural Centre, with city hall and International Music and Dance Festival support, it schedules one concert per month with leading European organists.
Announced names include António Duarte (Lisbon Cathedral), Olivier Latry (Notre-Dame de Paris), Viviane Loriaut (Évreux), Pablo Márquez (Valencia), Mattias Wager (Stockholm) and Roberto Fresco (Almudena, Madrid). Concerts are usually at 20:00–20:30, with occasional morning slots tied to the festival.
Entry is free until capacity or via Music and Dance Festival invitations (Corral del Carbón / festival website). A unique acoustic experience in the Gothic nave: arrive early and respect the sacred silence of the space.
