About the Event
Kerygma. El arte de evangelizar brings together for the first time in Granada Cathedral 100+ sacred works spanning five centuries of Holy Week heritage: sculpture, silverwork and confraternity treasures, 8 May–28 November 2026.
Kerygma. El arte de evangelizar is the largest sacred and devotional art exhibition staged in Granada to date. Organised by the Royal Federation of Holy Week Brotherhoods with Óptima Cultura, and backed by the provincial council, city hall, regional government, archdiocese and cathedral chapter, it gathers 100+ pieces that rarely leave their home churches.
The title refers to Christian kerygma — proclaiming the Gospel — and traces how Granada has lived Passion, Death and Resurrection through sculpture, silverwork and confraternity ritual. It coincides with the Federation’s centenary and the cathedral’s fifth centenary. Access via Puerta del Perdón (Plaza de las Pasiegas).
Hours: Mon–Sat 10:00–18:15; Sun 15:00–18:15. Tickets from €5 (residents) at ticketsgranadacristiana.com; guided tours and premium audioguide at expokerygma.com. During the exhibition, cultural visits to the Cathedral include the show route.
