About the Event
Receta cultural: art therapy at Granada’s Museum of Fine Arts turns the collection into a wellbeing tool: visit-workshops with art therapist Alberto Cordón for groups at risk of exclusion, with a guided tour of works followed by creative expression.
Granada’s Museum of Fine Arts is running Receta cultural: art therapy at the Museum in 2026, a series of visit-workshops that use the art collection as a universal communication channel. Led by art therapist Alberto Cordón, each session pairs a tour of selected works — designed to spark participation and curiosity — with a creative workshop that connects participants with their own expressive side.
Calls target Granada associations and groups at risk of social exclusion: for instance, the 21 February 2026 workshop references International Social Justice Day, while the 20 March session is aimed at women and families with dependent children. This is not an open tourist visit: groups are booked after a public call on the museum website and social channels, with capacity for 15–20 people.
The format fits Andalusia’s accessible-culture strategy in state museums: art as a space for care, dialogue and cohesion. If you want a conventional leisure plan, this is not it; if you work with a social organisation or want to see how the museum opens its galleries to diverse audiences, the Fine Arts official page lists dates and registration requirements.
