About the Event
Free Patronato exhibition at the Palace of Charles V (9 Oct 2026 – 17 Jan 2027). Show hours: until 14 Oct 10:00–20:00; from 15 Oct 10:00–18:00. Nasrid spaces adapted to the imperial court. Does not replace a Nasrid Palaces ticket.
The Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife presents "The royal palaces of the Alhambra" at the Palace of Charles V within the Alhambra complex, from 9 October 2026 to 17 January 2027. It is the second of two complementary quincentenary exhibitions; the first, "Granada. Imperial Capital: 1526…", is at the Hospital Real crossing with its own hours.
The display explores how Nasrid spaces were adapted to the imperial court: diplomacy, administration and a new architectural language of power in dialogue with the site's Islamic heritage.
Exhibition hours: until 14 October 2026, 10:00–20:00; from 15 October, 10:00–18:00. Free entry to the exhibition according to the Patronato. The confirmed public opening is 9 October (not the 8th).
Important: seeing this exhibition at the Palace of Charles V does not mean you have access to the Nasrid Palaces, which still require a timed ticket. The circular courtyard and palace museums follow different rules from the exhibition room; confirm access gates and complex controls on the official site before you go.

Plan Alhambra complex access in advance. If you only want the exhibition and palace, do not confuse booking with Nasrid Palaces tickets. The Hospital Real venue is a separate exhibition.
