Granada Fusión 2026 runs from 15 to 31 October in cultural spaces across the city. The programme brings together 16 performances over three weekends, with classical music, flamenco, rock, popular song, poetry and staged work. Among them: a tribute to Falla and Lorca, the music of Joe Hisaishi, a celebration of the legacy of Omega and Enrique Morente, and concerts devoted to Carlos Cano, the Andalusi tradition and Granadan folklore.

There is no single venue. The festival is spread across the Teatro Isabel la Católica, La Chumbera, Peña La Platería, university rooms and monumental spaces. Check the place of each session before you buy.

What Granada Fusión is

Granada Fusión is an October cultural festival that the organiser presents as a crossing of cultures, styles and generations. In 2026 it does not take over one venue or one night: there are 16 performances between 15 and 31 October, grouped on the weekends of 15–18, 22–25 and 29–31.

The programme mixes classical music, flamenco, rock, song, poetry and theatre. Several shows share artists —the Coro de Cámara de Granada appears across most of the bill— but each row below is a separate concert, with its own time, room and ticket. Each title links to its own session page.

What is worth telling apart

Falla and Lorca

The opening, on 15 October, is a tribute in the 150th anniversary of Manuel de Falla’s birth. Music and the spoken word, with the friendship of Falla and Lorca at the centre. Listing: Falla and Lorca: sound and the word.

Omega

On the evening of the 17th, Antonio Arias —who was part of the recording— marks 30 years of the album by Enrique Morente and Lagartija Nick. It is not a generic flamenco night: the organiser places it in the city that made that meeting of flamenco, rock and poetry possible. Listing: Granada, the city where Omega was made.

Carlos Cano

On the 18th at midday, La Platería gives the morning to the singer in the year he would have turned 80. Listing: Carlos Cano: the voice of Granada.

Taracea

Four poets on the morning of the 17th: Lorca, Elena Martín Vivaldi, Manuel Benítez Carrasco and Eladia Blázquez. Listing: Taracea: Granada in four voices.

A thousand years of encounter

On the 23rd at La Chumbera, flamenco and Andalusi music with Jaime Parrón and Al Maqam. Listing: A thousand years of encounter: 1031–2031. The institutional frame for 2031, separate from this concert, is Granada 2031.

Lorca for the family

On the 24th at midday, José Antonio García brings Lorca to an intergenerational audience. Listing: Lorca for the family with José Antonio García. For the map of Lorca’s city, the Lorca in Granada guide remains the reference for places, not for this concert.

Saint John of the Cross

On the 31st at 13:00, poetry and music in the cloister of Sacromonte Abbey. Listing: Saint John of the Cross: the music of silence.

Venues: check the one on your ticket

Buying “for the festival” is not enough. These are the rooms the programme uses, with the addresses we can state:

  • ETSIE auditorium, UGR. Calle Severo Ochoa, s/n, Fuentenueva campus. Only 15 October. It is not in the historic centre.
  • Salón de Escolapios. Paseo de los Basilios 2. 16 and 29 October.
  • Peña La Platería. Placeta de Toqueros 7, Albaicín. Eight sessions, several of them as a morning/afternoon pair. Context for the peña is in the flamenco in Granada guide.
  • Teatro Isabel la Católica. Acera del Casino, s/n. Only Omega, on the 17th at 20:30. Venue page: Teatro Isabel la Católica.
  • La Chumbera. Camino del Sacromonte. The 22nd, the 23rd and the evening of the 24th.
  • Sacromonte Abbey. Only Saint John of the Cross, on the 31st at 13:00.
  • Capilla Sagrado Corazón. Paseo de los Basilios 3. Only The Emperor and the Admiral, on the 31st at 19:00. It is next to the Escolapios school, not the same hall.

La Platería, La Chumbera and the abbey mean a climb. The Fuentenueva campus and Paseo de los Basilios do not. We do not publish access conditions for each room, because the festival pages we checked do not state them.

Tickets

Each session is sold on RedEntradas, the channel the organiser links from granadafusion.com. The GRN URBAN listing carries that link while the performance is still ahead. The price is not on the festival pages reviewed on 10 October 2026: it is confirmed at checkout, not here.

Once the session is over, the page stays as a record —date, venue, cast and context— and stops offering a purchase. An expired buy button is not needed to remember that the concert happened.

If a day has two performances, that is two purchases. Taracea and Omega on the 17th, Cano and the Three Cultures on the 18th, Lorca for the family and Ede on the 24th, Fandila and Compañía CYD on the 25th, Saint John and The Emperor and the Admiral on the 31st.

Fitting the festival into the city

For a bed, the centre makes the Isabel la Católica and the walk down from the Albaicín simpler; it does not remove the climb to Sacromonte or the trip to Fuentenueva. The where to stay guide compares neighbourhoods. If you are driving, read parking in Granada and the low-emission zone first.

The last weekend overlaps the International Jazz Festival. On Friday 30, Sol Maior is at 20:30 at La Platería and Antonio Faraò is at 21:00 at the Isabel la Católica. On Saturday 31, Saint John of the Cross is at 13:00 at the abbey, The Emperor and the Admiral at 19:00 on Paseo de los Basilios, and Tomoki Sanders at 21:00 at the Isabel. Those are different bills.

Between sessions, what to see in Granada and before you arrive sort the rest of the trip. The Granada Card does not include these tickets.
